A Requiem to Lost Car

These are photos of an forgotten car that has existed all along on some green field. This car is obviously famous “Dodge” made by some prestige brand in the U.S. It was a crisp May day in the Shirasawa Pass in Yamanashi prefecture. We went climbing up along the mountain pass choked with weeds and headed for the abandoned Dodge. The setting around the car was quite exquisite, that made us feel great! Now, this car is going to fade into the bush, so it’s too abandoned to reveal what has happened here.

この捨てられた車は山梨の白沢峠にあり、車種は ” ダッジ ” アメリカの有名ブランドでもあります。マニアからは”廃ダッジ”と呼ばれています。山梨県にある白沢峠のさわやかな5月の一日。私たちは雑草でいっぱいの山道を40分ほど登り、廃ダッジを目指しました。森が切れた広場に放棄されています。車のロケーションは絶妙で最高に良い気分。車はボロボロなので、この車が歩んできた歴史を読み説くのは難しいですが、謎が一つ。至る所に機関銃の弾が貫通したような跡が残っています。これは一体・・・。激戦を乗り越えてきた車なんでしょうか？
