Long-Forgotten Small Hospital

M-clinic (M医院) is located in a small village in Saitama prefecture. The two story small building is the old style of Japanese clinic. There is patient rooms, a reception room, a doctor room, a sterilization room and various offices inside the building. One of the most touching things when exploring this kind of building is to find personal belongings former residents have left. There were a lot of pretty valuable things here. Medical equipments, medicines and photos of the doctor. Those are all interesting. 🙂 The doctor wasn’t here anymore but his family’s pictures had been left in the clinic. why had they disappeared leaving even their family pictures? This place had been affected by high humidity. Walking on the clinic was quite dangerous. All of the floors were rotten. So In a way, M-clinic is seems like S Clinic in Gifu.

2階建ての小さな診療所の廃墟は、日本の古民家を思わせる佇まいです。中には患者室、応接室、医師室、滅菌室、様々な部屋があります。最も興味深いことはかつてのここで生活していた人々の個人的なものを発見することです。お医者さんはもう居ませんが、ここには医療機器、薬品、医師の家族や同僚の写真など貴重なものがたくさん残されています。なぜ、彼らは写真を残して消えてしまったんでしょうか？ ここは有名な S診療所 の関東版のような印象です。
