It is called ”Doctor’s House” and nowadays, the historic building has been decaying and gradually becoming ruin down. Little-known even to explorers, this stunning abandoned house has the typical old Japanese Samurai style inspired design. The Architecture is particularly good. There is a “Japanese Warehouse” and a “Japanese tenement house (Nagaya)”! Japan is cool, right…
岡山県にある立派な武家屋敷の廃墟に行ってきました。それは”博士のお屋敷”と呼ばれ名づけたのは、廃友であるくまおさん。非常に興味をそそられる良い名前です！実際に、元住民は博士だったようでその証拠が母屋に残っています。長屋門や蔵に囲まれている大きな武家屋敷で、中には当時は美しかったであろう日本庭園がありました。
I noticed some abandoned looking rooftops above an area overgrown with plants. After exploring the place for a bit I entered the site while making my way through the dense vegetation. ”Ouch!… Oh!… Ouch! ” I muttered quietly! The house garden had lots of plants thorny! My leg was covered with cuts and bruises.
またまた一人でササッと潜入してきました。長屋門から入ると、植物が多い茂った中庭がありました。ジャングルかした庭の中にはイバラがあり「うおお…痛い…いったぁい…」と呟きながら進んでいきました。母屋に着くころには足が擦り傷だらけに…。

Anyway, I found pictures in the main house. It was a photo of the Doctor’s family. They looked happy. The most touching thing is to find personal things belonging to residents.
Why the Doctor’s family abandoned the house remains a mystery but life has flourished and persisted there for over dozens of years.

Unfortunately, Sometimes former residents’s objects being stolen from Japan’s abandoned place. It is sad.
Fantastic architercture !! But so sad to see that it is so damaged. On the other side i wonder that it is still strong enough to survive the earthquakes of Japan. The pictures that you found, i like them. You are right these people looks friendly and lucky. Top location, i hope it will survive long time and someone will rescue this building.
