The Brush Park Historic District, designated by the city, is a 24 block neighborhood located in Detroit midtown. William Livingstone House is the most famous and old house in the Brush Park Historic District, was built in 1893 by Albert Kahn (architect). But unfortunately, this building was on the verge of collapse for many years and demolished on September 15, 2007. From the impression of the appearance I called this house Tim Burton’s House XD.
この地区でもっとも有名な建物はウィリアム・リビングストーン・ハウス。別名、ティム・バートンの家！建築家アルバート・カーンによって1893年に建てられたルネサンス調の住居です。この家は崩壊寸前という危険な状態のまま数十年も放置されていましたが、2007年に解体されました。かなり崩壊は進んでいたようで、外壁崩れを撮影した動画を見つけました。

Unchurched in the edge of the district.When we visited this building, all the doors and windows were closed, but the only main back door was open! But Inside, homeless people lived XD They were a little sulk by our sudden visit. Fortunately, The homeless were kind enough to let us explore inside the building. But Intense smell had filled… Oh… On the floor were junk and debris on the floor♪ scattered everywhere♪ Due band smell, God is escape in the hell!! OH…MY…GOD!
この名もなき教会は窓は塞がれていましたが、裏のドアが開いていました。中に入ると！何と！ホームレスさんが住んでいました！突然入ってきた私達に最初は不機嫌でしたが、教会内を見てもいいと言ってくれました。ありがたや！しかし、中はすさまじい臭いが充満していました…荒れ果て、ゴミだからけの内部に神様もびっくりして逃げ出してしまったかもしれません…
The heidelberg project
余談；ブラシパーク地区から東へ約2kmの場所にHeidelberg Street(ハイドロバーグ・ストリート)という地区があります。現在そこは” The heidelberg project(ハイドロバーグ・プロジェクト) “なる野外アートプロジェクトが見れる場所です。治安が悪化したことを心配したサムおじいさんという人が地元の子供達と一緒に始めたプロジェクトでユニークな町並みが広がります。グーグルストリトビューでも確認出来ます。楽しそう！
