Usually I write about abandoned places, but this time, I went to a very tall building that was under maintenance. This is my first experience to climb some tall building, and my first roof topping! Actually, this building, is the Supreme Court of Belgium!
I visited with my urbex friend Sylvain. He is one of the managers of the site forbidden-places.net in Europe and a great urban explorer.
今日は廃墟のレポートではなく、初めての都市探索レポート。ベルギーにある絶賛修復中の巨大な最高裁判所に登るという、廃墟探索してばかりいる自分にとって貴重な経験でした。
サポートしてくれたのはベルギーの探険友達でもあり、ヨーロッパ廃墟のスペシャリストでもあるシルヴァインです。

Inside of this huge building, the criminals are waiting for being judged. This is now under construction, so we climbed up the repair wall over to the building. I have to concentrate myself to be as inconspicuous as possible, focusing on where is next step… Like ninjas!
修復中の裁判所には、工事用の足場が外壁を覆っていました。それを登る…できるだけ目立たないように、その足場を忍者のように登りました。バランス感覚が重要視される！一歩間違えば大ケガどころか死ねる高さ…。
On the way, Sylvain said Be quiet with us! He signaled to us with his eyes by pointing below. There was one problem on the way, beneath us was a police car! They did not care about us… just safe!!… Lucky!
登っている途中にシルヴァインが「静かに！」と叫んだ。下を見ると、警察の車がいました…ヤバい…。でも警察は私たちなんかのことは気にせず、すぐにどこかに去っていきました。…なんだったんだ…。
螺旋階段を登り終わるとそこには赤い鉄骨で構成されたドームの屋根裏がありました。このドームは丁度、正義の判決が下される場所の真上に位置する場所です。
The building is 160 meters tall, and we had to climb for over 1 hour. We finally reached the top and went into the dome through a small window. From the top of the dome, we could enjoy the beautiful night skyline of Brussels!
再び登ることを再開。1時間かけて160メートルを登りました！最終的には、トップにあるドームまで到達。ドームの小窓から建物の中に潜入、裁判所の一番高い場所からベルギーの美しい夜の街並みを眺めることができました。
