Don-doko-don!! We visited the abandoned Atagawa Royal Hotel located in Izu, Japan. Izu is a famous place for the hot springs, but many hotels went out of business and now are just abandoned, is one of those.
ドンドコドーン！熱川ロイヤルホテルを探索してきました。伊豆は温泉で有名な場所ですが、多くのホテルが廃業し、廃墟になっています。
The Atagawa Royal Hotel went out of business in 1986 due a fire in the adjacent annex building. According to the news about the incident, 24 guests were dead by fire, and now the annex is demolished, but Atagawa Royal Hotel still stands.
この熱川ロイヤルホテルは、1986年隣接する別館の火災により廃業。火災では24人の方が犠牲になりました。現在、別館は取り壊されてロイヤルホテルだけ残った状態。
There are a Japanese drum (Taiko) in the lobby, and comparing it to the structure, the condition of the Taiko was pretty good! Don-doko-don!! “Don doko don” is the onomatopoeic sound of the Japanese drum XD
ホテルのロビーには何故か和太鼓が並んでいしました。太鼓の状態はかなり良く、今でも使われているようでした。ドンドコドン！
A burnt out area. This banquet hall was completely gutted by fire. It was hardly ruined and a lot of objects were burned. What happened here? There was a bone of two animals in a guest room.
火災エリア。この宴会場は完全に火災で全焼していた。内装は焼け焦げて真っ黒。ある部屋に、二匹の動物の骨が寄りそうように残されていました。

ドラゴンボールの悟空が、バラバラになっていろんな場所に捨ててあった。たぶん、スーパーサイヤ人のパワーに堪えられなくて爆発して散りじりになってしまったんだと思われる。かわいそう。
There is a hallway had collapsed, leading to the room with the annex building. And Eerie rock had been left… Why? Once, there was a fire ahead. What a soul of dead feeling wanders around in here….
別館へと続く廊下は、崩れていた。謎の大岩が残されていて何とも不気味な雰囲気。この崩壊した向こう側で火災があったのと思うと複雑な気分。
元地元民ですが、ここはお祭りで演奏する太鼓の練習の場として使われてます。
出来れば勝手に入ったり使ったりしないでそっとしておいて下さいね。
