Here is abandoned steel mill in the mountains of Taipei. When Taiwan was still under Japanese colonial rule, industrialization proceeded rapidly. The plant, which was used to quiet iron from Jinshan and the surrounding area, began operating around 1944 and is said to have employed around 5,000 people.
