Kent School

The Kent School, located in West Germany, is a historic and abandoned school beside a church. The building was used as a clinic, a hospital of the Nazis, and then the British military hospital. It was closed in 1991, and now the building has been sold by auction; however, still it’s in sale…because of some troubles.

西ドイツにあるケントスクールという学校の廃墟は、教会が隣接された学校ですが、その歴史は長く、地方の療養所として使われ→ナチス病院→イギリス軍病院として使われてきた過去があります。1991年に閉鎖され、2006年から競売にかえられているらしいけど、色々悶着があったようで、いまだに絶賛売出し中の物件だそう。

Horse’s Eyes on ME

The gate was opened and welcomed us. Anybody couldn’t stop us, the gate already knew. A pasture was there, and horses were eating grass. It was really calm, but many horses’ eyes were looking at us…well, ok, let’s hurry to the school!

アタシたちが場所につくと、ゲートが開いていた…これは問答無用でお邪魔します！状態だ。隣には馬牧場があり、馬たちはアタシたちを見つめながら草をモリモリ食べていた…環境はのどかだったが、まあなんだか監視されているようだったので、さっさと学校のある場所まで走った。

Don’t Worry! No Entry!

The building was covered with grass, but also beautiful. The figure was attractive enough to let us excited. BUT!!!! We tried to find out a way to go inside; however almost all entries were closed…No way!!!! The church, we were eager to explore, was also closed tightly and tightly with hard chains and locks…

建物の外観は雑草に埋もれながらも美しく、内部を想像するだけで、ワクワクしてしまうような様相だった。んが！建物の内部に入れる場所はないかと探したが、ほとんどの入り口や窓は塞がれていた状態だった。なんてこったい。探索のメインであった教会も、これでもか！と頑丈なチェーンと鍵がかけられ入れる場所はどこにも見つからなかった。

MAMA! I MADE IT!!!

We found a way to go inside at another building, not the beautiful church. Oh…the building was full of illegal dumping. This building of four stories had many small rooms. I felt it was like a hospital than a school. We could not find nice historical things than expected, so as a ruin, we could give only 1.5 stars to this place. But from top of the building, we could see the exterior of the church. It made us imagine the interior could be really beautiful…What?!

教会側の素敵な建物ではなく、もう一棟の建物に、は入れそうな場所を見つけた。何とか入れたが、不法投棄だらけ。四階建ての建物は、細かく部屋がわかれ、学校というよりも病院のような印象だった。当時を思わせる残留物などは少なく、廃墟としては★1.5というところだろうか。 しかし、建物の最上階の窓から、入れなかった教会の外観を見ることができた。さそがし中は美しかっただろうなと想像しながら、その景色を楽しんでいると…

Voices from Somewhere

What’s going on? We found 3 persons on patrol…wearing same uniforms. Maybe, they were guards. A little voices urging me on My Ghost… They were walking around with talking. Well, oh no, they stopped at the place we came in and started chatting…Excuse me, would you mind if we ask you to give us the way? Yes? Yup, we know. You’re right… Of course they didn’t give us the way; we finally jumped off from a window on the second floor!! It was about 3 meters from the ground!! In my mind, I was diving like an eagle, like the Assassin’s Creed, yeah, IN MY MIND. Well, one good thing was that my hip was strong enough to land. Thanks. The hip landing sound made horses surprised. Excuse my hip, Mr. Horses. Well, this place is now managed, but really nice abandoned buildings. If you like it, how about joining the auction?!

様子をうかがうと、見回りをしている三人組の姿を確認した。アタシは彼らがなんだかわからなかったけど、三人とも同じ制服を着ていたので、警備員だと理解。敷地内を会話をしながら周回する三人。そして、なぜかアタシたちが入ってきた場所で話し込んでいる!!これじゃあ出られないじゃないか!! しかたがないので、二階のまどから草地に飛び降りた！その高さは3ｍくらいあったと思う。アサシンズクリード並にかっこよく飛び降りる予定だったが、アタシはおしりを強打した…その音に馬もびびっていた。すまん馬たちよ。というわけで、この場所は現在管理されているのでご注意を。しかし素敵な建物なので、読者の方でお金持ち廃墟好きな人がいたら別荘として買ってはいかがでしょうか？
