Lonely White School

I visited this abandoned school called “white school” with Mr. Kumao and Jef ! This place is located in Okayama prefecture. Usually the old Japanese school is wooden made, the color is brown, and there is a kind of warm environment. However, this school’s inside was white! Even if is abandoned, seems still clean. Looks like an hospital.

岡山にある白亜の廃校と呼ばれる廃墟に、くまおさんとジェフと行ってきました。日本で見る廃墟の学校は、木製で温かみのあるデザインが多いように感じますが、この学校の中は白いんです! 木製の白い壁、コンクリートの白い壁、廃墟なのに清潔感溢れる感じ。病院のような印象もありました。

All the doors and the windows were closed, but occasionally we were able to go inside. The school it isn’t vandalized at all, there are only white and cold beautiful corridors and no object left behind. You feel like to be in a deserted and forgotten place. Walking through the corridors, you are surrounded only by a feeling of loneliness…

荒らされた形跡もない。ただただ白く寂しい空間がありました。白い廊下は無機質で美しい！内部にはもう何も残されていませんでしたが、学校であったという雰囲気を感じることができました。
