Taman Festival Bali on Bali’s east coast lies an abandoned theme park. built around 1998 at a cost of $100 million, the park was to be opened as a theme park with Bali’s largest swimming pool, a roller coaster, a 3-D movie theater and a racer show. But it was never opened and No one knows why it wasn’t opened.

It’s reminiscent of Uncharted.
Decaying buildings and cultural statues have been swallowed up by nature and turned into ruins. The topography of the park is designed to provide visitors with a sense of exploration of the Uncharted Game. Today, it has become a social gathering place for graffiti art, and there is some great art to be found in the park.
朽ちた建物や、文化的な彫像が自然に飲み込まれ遺跡化しています。高低差のある地形がデザインされ、アンチャーテッドの遺跡探索のような気分に浸れます。現在では、グラフィティアートの社交場的な存在になり、園内では素晴らしいアートを見ることができます。
Scared Taxi Driver
There was a sense of holiness and a creepy and peculiar atmosphere in the park, and sometimes you could feel the presence of something. The strong driver who followed me said, “There is a God in this place. Scary…” and left halfway through. Despite his strong appearance, his naïve nature made me more likeable. Apparently, This place is now thought to be one of the most haunted places in Bali, attracting spirits from all over the island.
園内には神聖さと不気味で不思議な独特な空気感があり、時々なにかの気配を感じることがありました。「危ないからついていくよ」と同行した屈強なドライバーさんは、「この場所は神様がいる。怖い」といって途中で離脱。屈強な外見とは裏腹にナイーブな性格で好感度がアップしました。地元では心霊スポットとしても有名というのを後で知りました。

As I explored the place, I felt that “there is someone here”, yes, While I was in this place, I constantly felt the presence of someone. I’m not a psychic, so it was an unfamiliar sensation for me. A lot of people who visit this place seem to feel the same way. The reason for the closure is not known. You can see all sorts of speculation on the internet. But I surmised that this place was something special, a place that humans were not allowed to touch.
