I have already visited the Abandoned Island Gunkanjima in Nagasaki many times. This time, we were able to explore Gunkanjima for about 8 hours. I never stayed on the island so long time. It was a very valuable experience. I was certainly sure to revisit Gunkanjima, spend more time looking for beautiful details, and this time was a very long time exploration 🙂

2011年の上陸は、少しだけ長い時間島に滞在することができました。いつもは時間がなくて見れない場所もゆっくりと探索できて、貴重な体験となりました。

The purpose to visit this time, was to guide two explorers who came from Canada. They came to Japan just for Gunkanjima! These Canadian guys have all my respect!

The Lord of the Apple: Gunkanjima’s Treasure
Do you know the treasure that is hidden in the Gunkanjima? This invisible glass apple is a treasure of Gunkanjima, commonly called Mirage Apple. The apple is one of the best works the legendary Glass Maestro Mr.Takeda did. It is said that a man who can get the apple will be able to become the Urban explorer King. We finally Discovered it and Chris brought it back to Canada.

I managed to see most of the place, in addition, I discovered many objects in the resident rooms, and I probably spent more time goofing around than taking photos…　Still, I took many funny photos with my gas mask, and yet, because we had a lot of time.

今回は時間がたっぷりあったので、住居部分を中心に探索しました。まだ見たことがなかったたくさんの元住民の生活用品を発見することができました。
