Family school Fureai was originally the grounds of the Asahi Elementary School, After closing, it was taken over by the Yubari city for the use as a accommodation dormitory of the public. Built In 2006, This dormitory was closed by the financial collapse of Yubari City. Now, the building is not moderated, and many parts from inside are stolen and collapse. About Yubari, Yubari city is called the Detroit of Japan. But don’t worry, Yubari is super safe 🙂 There is just the lonely countryside landscape.

夕張市内を車で観光していた際に、この荒れ果てた建物が気になったので寄ってみました。ファミリースクールふれあいと書かれた大きな看板が目立つ。ファミリースクールってなんなんだろうか…家族の学校ってなんじゃろか？？

体育館は無駄に広い。そこにポツンと謎のテーブルと椅子。ここでファミリーが家族会議でもしていたのでは! ピアノは破壊されて中身が見えたグロい状態でした。
I found Abandoned Sumo room 😀 This is rare! I think, Family was played Sumo in this room for family communication. Also, this room scattered lot of animal poop on the floor.

現役の観光地でもある石炭の歴史村の正面にあるにもかかわらず、この有様。内部はこれでもかってくらい荒れていました。自然豊かな北海道にあるためか、動物が入りこんでいるようで、動物の糞がたくさん落ちていました。Poop!
I felt like I’ve come to dormitory accommodation, but seems like in school, because the building structures are a typical school. I looked this place up on the internet just a little bit. Apparently, It is also known as a famous haunted places in the local people.
建物自体は小学校そのものなので、宿泊施設の廃墟というより、小学校の廃墟に来た気分。ネットで調べたら、地元では心霊スポットととして有名みたいです。
