I had great pleasure visiting this place.
The cold February day, I visited Ibaraki for the purpose of urban exploration at the forgotten villas. It is called ” Red Villas ” because the main building has a red roof. Now it is forever abandoned. Little-known even to the neighborhood, this stunning abandoned house has the typical Japanese old western-style inspired design. There is a main house and some attached buildings.
Why the former residents abandoned the house remains a mystery but life in wealthy is believed to have persisted there for over dozens of years. The place stimulated my curiosity… what kind of people lived in the house ? How was their daily lives?
I’ve been checking out your site for a long time. I love your photos! Keep up the great work and stay safe!
