銃痕の跡。The third thugs of Kupari’s resort hotel abandoned buildings! The Grand Hotel, settled in the center of Cupertino, is the oldest building in this group. It is said that it was originally a castle or a hall and it was refurbished and opened as a hotel at the time of resort development. In the Croatian conflict, because this building faces the sea, the roof falls by the shock of direct fires. The pathetic scars of the gun battle still remains on the pure white outer wall.
クパリのリゾートホテル廃墟群の第三の刺客!! ザ・グランドホテル。クパリエリアの中央に鎮座する、廃墟群の中で最も古い建物。元々はお城、館だったと言われていて、リゾート地開発の際に改装しホテルとしてオープンしたそう。クロアチア紛争時に、海沿いに面していることから、直に砲撃を受けた衝撃で屋根が落ちてしまい、真っ白な外壁には銃撃戦の生々しい跡が残る廃墟です。
紛争当時は激戦地。今ではオープンな廃墟。不思議な気持ちです。
A little History
The Grand Hotel of Kupari was built in 1919. This hotel used to be the richest and most luxury hotel in the group at the time of sales. In October 1991, by the shelling of the Yugoslav People’s Army, hundreds of years of historical buildings became debris overnight.
クパリのグランドホテルは1919年に建てられたホテル。営業当時、ホテル群の中で最もリッチでラグジュアリーなホテルだったそうです。1991年10月、ユーゴスラビア人民軍(the Yugoslav People’s Army)の砲撃により、何百年もの歴史ある建物は一晩で瓦礫と化してしまいました。
中世とオリエンタルを混ぜたような外観。植物に覆われて雰囲気が出ています。
Since the internal structure has been left behind than Hotel Kupari and Hotel Pura Grand which I am introducing from before last, I could feel the luxurious scene at the time. In my mind, another Tommy said “I should have stayed here, not in Dubrovnik …” to me. A local grandfather in bathing suits normally live, despite the fact that the steps of the stairs are all returned to zero and they have turned into slopes (possible story), and the roof rubble collapses in real time, . This is a resort!
前々回から紹介している、ホテル・クパリやホテルプレグランよりも内部構造が残されているので、当時のラグジュアリーな面影を確認。「ドブロブニクに泊まらないでここに泊まれば良かったなあ…」と心の中でつぶやいていたことはここだけの話。階段の段差が全てゼロに還りスロープと化していたり（廃墟あるある）、屋根の瓦礫がリアルタイムで崩れ落ちたりと中々エキサイトな内部にもかかわらず、水着姿の地元のおじいさんが普通に居たりする廃墟。これぞリゾート！
