台湾の小籠包本当に美味しいですよね。その場で包まれ蒸された小籠包は最高! 三芝老地方潮州肉圓は、台北三芝にある小籠包が名物の町の小さな大衆食堂。副菜も含めとにかく安いてうまいんです。最強の小籠包ここにあり。
Taiwanese xiaolongbao (steamed dumplings) made right in front of you from scratch is ridiculously delicious. This small local restaurant, 三芝老地方潮州肉圓, located in Sanzhi town is famous for its xiaolongbao. They’re ridiculously cheap and yet sooooo good!! How’s that even possible? This particular restaurant is one of my favorite in Taiwan and I would recommend this place if you are looking for good steamed dumplings. We went in a little before lunch time and the place was already packed! It’s pretty spacious compared to some of the other restaurants but I was able to tell how much this place is loved by the locals just by the amount of people coming and going.

小籠包はベーシックなものから、台北の海で取れた海鮮を使った小籠包があります。一気にいくと熱いので要注意。あふれ出る肉汁、中にはふわふわの豚肉、旨みの効いたスープがとてもいい感じです。名前がわからなかったんですが、副菜の干し大根のちょっと辛い沢庵のようなものをおススメします。「ライス一つ！」と頼みたくなっちゃう一品でした。好吃!

They have various types of xiaolongbao, from basics to fresh seafood dumplings. Be careful not to bite right into it or you’ll burn yourself; try to start from the edge of the dough and drink the soup inside the dumpling first. If you ever get a chance to visit this place, get the yellowish-orange pickled radish too from the fridge in the back. I don’t know the name of it but that side dish was pretty good.
Self-Service
メイン料理はテーブルオーダー式、副菜はセルフサービスのようで、奥の冷蔵庫から好きなものを取ってくるという方式。お会計は食べ終わったら、スタッフさんに何を食べたかを告げ、支払いを済ませます。地元の方たちに愛されてやまない小籠包のお店の紹介でした。
You order the main dish at the table, but all the small side-dishes are self-service so you grab whatever you want from the fridge in the back. Once you’re done, you just go up to the staff, let them know what you got, pay them and you’re good to go.
