This abandoned “snake specimen laboratory” is located within the grounds of “Japan Snake Institute” which is a kind of theme park and has a lot facilities like snake gardens, museums, and a snake venom laboratory that are open for tourists. The Institute abandoned this laboratory long ago and no doubt explorers are the only people who come visit this place.
Seems strange, just leaving all those specimens and the lab equipment.
Does Japan actually have many venomous snakes? Interesting site.
Japan does not have many venomous snakes.
but there are many poisonous snakes in Okinawa and south Japan.
Snake is called the ” Okinawa habu ” in Japanese.
I swear the kid in the next to last picture is Shin, from the anime “Shin-Chan” !
will never experience Shin-chan laughter again 😀
Muuhhaaa that’s absolutely fantastic, but there is a bloody ace. This snake farm is wonderful. with this snake farm you have played a super Ace. I enjoy the pictures.. :O)
That is a bit spooky 🙂 and strange place. Snake’s time is stopped here…So let them rot on.
I can well imagine that was spooky and strange. And now that all rot, it has not smell strongly? Well, the snakes are still in glass and in formaline or alkahol. But it is certainly strange to walk into this building….
Inside is a little smell of formaline…and It is dusty difficult to breathe by the room .
