The Kemigawa Radio Transmitter Station was formerly used by the Japan telephone public corporation who conducted secret military tests at WWII, is located in Kemigawa-cho, Chiba, and was built in 1926 by Yoshida Tetsurou (Japanese modernist architect.) Since being closed in 1979, To Now this area is a neighborhood children’s playground hotspot 🙂 検見川無線送信所は千葉の検見川町にある、古い無線送信所の廃墟です。1926年に開局され、その風変わりな建築は、日本のモダニズム建築科の吉田鉄郎さんによってデザインされました。1979年閉局されてからは、近所の子供たちの遊び場になっています。
This building is standing In the middle of the field. All doors are welded shut and we couldn’t enter. Looking at the structure from outside, I feel the architecture of Germany in WWII. Majestic!! Majestoso!! Majestatisch!! 草むらに立っている検見川無線送信所。ドアは侵入できないように頑丈な鉄板で塞がれているので、中に入る事はできませんが、外観だけ見ても堅実なデザイン様式面白い！堂々としてるというか、第二次世界大戦中のドイツっぽいデザインというか。時代を感じる風貌に圧倒されました！
