I visited Hashima Island one more time with my urbex friends, but this time I don’t want go deep into details and explanation, but I prefer describe the atmosphere and the taste of this exploration. We was able to spend a full and quite night inside the island.
When the evening came, all the apartment was illuminated by a lovely setting sun light, and everything around us was dyed in a unique colour. Simply beautiful! We had just a short time until sunset, so we shoot pictures intently. More than anything, enjoy the sunset in the island with the friend that I can trust, was really special.

When the night came, unfortunately there isn’t a moonlight, and the general light condition weren’t so good, but thanks to my friends, I took some some interesting pictures. We decided to give life to the unmanned apartment. I wanted try this shooting procedure for two years, so we start the challenge! Everyone was so tired, but really happy!

We returned to our base camp, but a something serious happened! Someone ate our dinner! The bag with our food, was been bite by someone, and we found the sign! We check inside the bag, and we found a cockroach!!! Whaaat??? But, the hole in the bag, was too big for a cockroach, so he is not guilty. Our man is someone bigger!
We start our criminal research and we found immediately the guilty! A mouse! Pretty huge mouse! A lot of mouse!
Was the first time for me to see some animal in Gunkanjima, and I was quite impressed of our discovery.
After that, with only some water, we pass the night until morning without sleeping…
Amazing light! It’s like a dream!
Chris! Island has Silent atmosphere…I’d stay there all day 😀
Super pictures … so surreal. Strange place, epecially in the night. When i am somewhere in the night, i have the feelings
every noise is much more loud as usual. It seems monsters are every where and then … a litte mouse, a dear or something like that. Greetings from freeidefix
Thanks! freeidefix 🙂 Gunkanjima buildings looks like Monster in the Night . Strange mouse is big size…
Jealous ! This island is available to access again?! I heard all the fishermen there refused to go anymore. How did you manage that? If there is any chance, I would go definitely !
I receive many question from the people who want have informations about in my photos, but I don’t give any info about it. Please thank you for understanding 🙂
