Jiufen (九份) is so famous, describing it is almost not necessary.This lantern town has been called the model for the Japanese anime ” Spirited Away “ produced by Studio Ghibli .Jiufen became popular since 2001 when the movie came out.
Jiufen has an some beautiful teahouses.Two of the most famous teahouse are “A Mei tea house(阿妹茶酒館)” and “Jiufen tea house”九份茶坊”.A Mei tea house was used as a model bathhouse in “Spirited Away”. so It is a popular place for Japanese Ghibli fans!
The Town has a nostalgic and mysterious atmosphere.The evening and night on weekdays will not have tourists in the alleys, so then is a really good time for visiting this place!
九份は有名すぎてあまり説明が必要ないかもしれませんが…ジブリの映画“千と千尋の神隠し”の舞台のモチーフとされた場所と言ったらピンと来る人も多いと思います。2001年の公開以来、九份は人気の観光スポットの一つになりました。
また、九份は、お茶好きさんにも有名な場所で、美しい茶館で美しい景観を見ながら中国茶を頂くことができます。最も有名なお茶家さんは “アーメイ茶家（阿妹茶酒館）”と “九分茶坊”。そのアーメイ茶家は千と千尋の神隠しの”油屋浴場”のモデルとして使用されたらしく、日本のジブリファンに人気の場所です！まあ、でも高い！(笑)
町並みはノスタルジックで神秘的な雰囲気を持っているのも特徴。平日の夕方から夜が特にオススメ。観光客がはけた人気のない路地の雰囲気は最高です。
