台湾廃墟。It’s a place where the old and the new co-exist in harmony. It’s a place full of wonder that has and will continue to inspire travelers for many generations to come. Not only is this country a great place to visit for a vacation, it also hides interesting abandoned buildings for the urbex enthusiasts. Taiwan has so many buildings that have been abandoned by its owners due to various reasons, such as failure in construction projects, slump in businesses, and/or serious defects found in its construction. Some owners choose to abandon their buildings rather than demolishing in order to cut down the extra expense.
古い場所と新しい場所が混在し、旅行者にとって刺激的で、素晴らしいインスピレーションを与えてくれる国、台湾。この国は休暇で訪れるのに最適なだけではなく、Urbex愛好家にとっても興味深い廃墟が多く存在します。台湾では、建設プロジェクトの失敗、経営不振、ビルの欠陥などの理由で廃墟となる建物が多く、また解体には費用がかかるためそのまま放棄してしまうこともしばしば。
Exploring is the Spice of Life
They offer a wide range of abandonments from factories, apartment complexes, amusement parks, and even an UFO. (I know. Just wait and see.) I also found several buildings left from the period of Japanese occupation too.
This trip was full of interesting events, like getting barked at by the stray dogs, chased by mosquitos from all directions, and munched on by numerous fleas. I’ll share some of that with you over the next few articles.
